In Omaha, where my sister and her family live and where I spent July 4th, fireworks are not illegal as they are here in Pennsylvania.
Even though I've lived in Omaha and other towns in Nebraska, I don't remember this phenomenon.
My brother-in-law shot off some awesome fireworks, as did the folks across the cul-de-sac, and all around in neighborhoods near and far. It was really an awesome experience, and the sky took on this remarkable cast.
